If you have your door system upgraded, the boarding parties will have a hard time moving around your ship. Once again target shields first, weapons second. Don't lose focus! Your goal is the enemy ship so make sure you keep firing. The enemies will teleport over 4+ crew to wreck havoc on your ship. This time around, he only has 2 weapons so the rebel vessel itself doesn't pose much of a threat, the issue now is the boarding parties. Heal up and chase him down again to find the ship, or whats left of it, recharged and ready for round 3. Wait, you thought you were done? Incorrect friend, the boss still has more to throw at you. Without his shields, the boss vessel will fall fairly quickly. Focus solely on his shields until they are destroyed, then either go for his main weapons, or his drone control. The same strategy applies when fighting him. Level 4 shields is a necessity, as they will absorb a lot of the punishment from those drones. It is not simply 1 drone either, there are many, many drones swarming your ship. This time, his main weapons are weaker due to a third of his ship being gone, but his drone system is now active. Heal up, then chase him down to fight him again. So you thought the fight was over? Not at all, in fact the boss has plenty left to throw at you. Once a couple of his weapon systems are down, the rest of the fight is quite easy. Remember missiles travel through your shields, so this is where that high evasion will come in handy. He fires missiles, a lot, so the quicker you can take those out the better. Once they are damaged, or destroyed, start blasting apart his weapons. They recharge so quickly that they simply must be destroyed. Your first order of business should be eliminating his shields. The Rebel Boss has 4 main weapon systems, 4 shields, and many crew members. The game does little to prepare you for the overwhelming firepower this boss ship has, so read up carefully here and hopefully we can give you a fighting chance. In fact he is so difficult that there is a very good chance you will die your first time encountering him. Every bit helps, no matter how small or insignificant. It is important to have your ship heavily defended, with thick layers of shields and an evasion of 40% or higher. It is unlikely that you will find any quests, but enemies may still lurk in the shadows of some jumps, so don't think just because this is the boss zone that you are safe from smaller ships. The other areas of the map still function like before. These are quite valuable but can typically be used only once, so visit with care. The player can visit these locations and have their shipped fixed up and often times stocked with more fuel and missiles. The final zone features a new icon: repairs.
